Introduction to the Lecture Professor：

Professor Igor Kotenko. Serving as the Chief Scientist and Director of the Computer Security Research Laboratory at the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lifetime Professor at ITMO University, Merited Scientist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural History and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and Chair Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology. He has extensive expertise in AI intelligence, communication technologies, and cybersecurity, with over 800 academic papers published and 25 monographs authored. He has led more than 60 international and Russian national-level research projects.

Lecture Abstract：

This report elucidating the essence of cyber security, challenges, and the various facets of cyber threats that persist in the digital realm. The influence of cybersecurity on financial and other sectors is analyzed. Key cybersecurity terms are discussed. Common cybersecurity attacks, cybersecurity areas, domains and threat actors are considered.
